dc.description.abstractTwo pot experiments were carried out in Darmaga IV Expt. Station from December 1990 to March 1992. The.first was aimed to study the effect of seed treatment with hot water and ethepon on growth and yield of ginger grown in bacterial wilt contaminated soils. The second experiment was seed treatment combined with rice husks ashes and onion extract grown on baacterial wilt innoculated soils. In the first experiment, the randomized block design with ethepon levels 0, 250, 500 and 750 ppm combined with hot water treatment of 24 ± 2°C and 51 ± 2°C were used. Second experiment with the same design were seed treatmentof hot water 51 ± 2°C and treatment of hot water 51 ± 2°C with 750 ppm ethepon. Soaked for 15 minutes. Soil treatments consist of rice husk ashes and onion extract. The second experiment were carried out on bacterial wilt innoculated soils.id
