The Effect On Growth And Yield Of Cassava Plants By Interplanting Wingbean On Different Planting Date

Abstract

A field trial was conducted near Bogor (November 1979 -July 1979) to study the effect of different planting date of wing bean intercropped to cassava, to chose the right time to get highest yield of both cassava and wing bean. There were 3 planting dates: 2, 4 and 6 weeks after planting of cassava cuttings. Cassava monoculture and intercropping cassava-wing bean were used as control. Randomized Block Design, with 3 replicates was used, with each treatment in 6 x 5 m plot.
