Abstract

Social capital and local indigenous are the key aspect in both sustainable community development and participatory development. Extension workers and community empowerment facilitators are one of the key actors of communication development in realizing quality and prosperity of society life. Extension/empowerment of society organization which involve in modern world progressively do not protect from requirement demand for extension competency as according to demand growth requirement of communication development or extension target. Therefore, there is a need a facilitator’s qualification that have adequate standard in sustainable development. The well guaranteed of the competency will only be effective if it is supported through related professional association and the supervision by the institute of certification
