Until 1998, up to 282 watersheds were degraded. The effects of the degradation are flood, landslide, and drought in many places in Indonesia. Watershed degradation is partially caused by the increasing of land pressure by human populationgrowth, forest destructions, etc. To maximize thefunctionsof watershed on reducing the effects above, it is necessary that the watershedshould be well managed and supported by actual and valid data. As the data related to watershed managements are complex and various, it is necessary to create some integrated systems that support data management and watershed information. These systems will be beneficial for planning, organizing, monitoring, and evaluating. Recently, the development of computer and information technologies has grown up rapidly. It make things easily done, regardless place and time. This technology can be applied to watershed management system. Integrally, by using this technology, all information referring to watershed priority, critical land characteristic and quick detect of watershed degradation can be obtained.
