Kualitas Fisik Telur Ayam Kampung Segar di Pasar Tradisional, Swalayan dan Peternak di Kotamadya Bogor
Abstract
The objective of this study was to measure the physical quality of fresh Kampung chicken eggs in traditional market, Supermarket, and Breeder in Bogor. Eggs for these markets were supplied from Solo and Delanggu, Central Java. The storage of the Kampung Chicken Eggs slightly varied amongst markets for both egg containers used and temperature of storage system, which ranged from 25 - 33 C. Physically, the quality of Kampung Chickens decreased along with the time of stroge before sale and egg handling, and differred between the respective markets. It could be suggested that fresh eggs from breeders with shorter duration of storage before sale was better than those in the other"two markets.
