The aim of this study was to investigate the content of serum minerals of FH cattle in different stage of pregnancy and of the feed given in the small and large farms. Sarnples were collected from the respective farms from July 1994 to May 1995 in Bogor regency areas. The content of Ca, P or Mg in the serum of pregnant cattles in the large farm was significantly higher than in the the small farm. The stage of pregnancy seem to related with the contents of Ca level in the serum. The increase of pregnancy stage caused the decrease of Ca content in sera for both farms. The Ca level was significantly lower at the fourth to ninth stages of pregnancy compared to other stages of pregnancy. No difference of Ca level was observed at the beginning of pregnancy and 1-2 months after birth (post parturn).id
