Alelopatu teki (Cyperus rotundus L.) dan pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kedelai (Glycine max Merr.) serta kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.)

Abstract

The objective of this studies was aimed at investigating the allelopat hic effect of purple nutsedge on the growth and yield of soybean and groundnut. The experfrnent was a completely randomized design with 7 treatments and 6 replications. The source of allelopathy is shoot and root of nutsedge, with 0.0,0.25, 0.50, and 0.75% ratio of allebpathy sources and soil dry weight were compared wtth control treatment. Nutsedge could give allebpathical effect on growth and yield of soybean and groundnut. Shoot and tuber of nutsedge as source of allebpathy did not give any differences on the inhibition of growth and yield. Increased of allebpathic sources inclined gave clearer allelopathical effect on soybean and groundnut. Sn general the allelopathical effect of nutsedge suppressed the growth and yield of groundnut more clearly rather than soybean.
