      Pengaruh Pemberian Nitrogen dan Fosfor Terhadap Perkembangan Mikroza Pada Pinus Merkusii

      Abstract
      Mycorrhizae are symbiotic structures, developed by the roots of plants and fungal mycelia. These mycorrhizae are often necessary forthe growth of forest trees. This study was undertaken to determine the effect of the application of Nitrogen and Phosphorus on the development of mycorrhizae in pinus merkusii. Andosol, collected in Puncak, and Latosol, collected in Darmaga, were used in this experiment. A seedling, transplanted into a pot containing 490 gr of dried soil, served as an experimental unit. Nitrogen ((NH4)2SO4) was applied at 0 ppm, 60 ppm, 120 ppm, 180 ppm or 240 ppm per pot, respectively. Phosphorus (NaH2PO4) was applied at 0 µg/ml, 0.1 µg/ml, 0.2 µg/ml, 0.3 µg/ml or 0.4 µg/ml per pot, respectively. The experiment was conducted in four replications. Sixteen weeks after transplanting, the percentage of the mycorrhizae of each seeding was determined. Phosphous application didd not significantly affect the mycorrhizal development, whereas the application of Nitrogen significantly (at 99% confidence level) inhibited the development of mycorrhiza. The regression equation of the latter was Y=2.7 - 0.00797 X, where Y is the percentage of mycorrhiza and X the level of the Nitrogen application.
       
      Mikoriza merupakan struktur hasil simbiose antara akar tanaman dan miselium bagi pertumbuhan pohon-pohon dalam kali sangat dibutuhkan bagi pertumbuhan pohon-pohon dalam hutan. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian hara Nitrogen dan Fosfor ke dalam tanah terhadap perkembangan mikoriza pada PInus merkusii. Dalam penelitian ini telah digunakan Andosol dari puncak dan latosol dari Darmaga. Satu bibit P. merlussi ditanam dalam satu pot yang berisi 490 gram tanah kering untuk masing-masing jenis tanah, merupakan satu-satuan percobaan. Nitrogen [(NH4)2SO4) diberikan dalam lima tingkat kepekatan, yaitu 0 ppm, 60 ppm, 120 ppm, 180 ppmatau 240 ppm, sedangkan fosfor (NaHPO4) juga dalam lima tingkat kepekatan, yaitu 0 µg/ml, 0.1 µg/ml, 0.2 µg/ml, 0.3 µg/ml, atau 0.4 µg/ml. Percobaan ini dilakukan dalam empat ulangan. Enambelas minggu kemudian, persentase mikoriza pada perakaran bibit ditentukan. Pemberian Fosfor tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap perkembangan mikoriza, sedangkan pemberian NItrogen dengan sangat nyata menekan perkembangan mikoriza. Pengaruhnya dapat digambarkan dengan persamaan regresi Y = 2,7 - 0,000797 X; Y adalah persentase mikoriza, sedangkan X merupakan banyaknya Nitrogen yang diberikan.
