| dc.description.abstract | PT. Forestalestari Dwikarya (PT. FLD) is a company engaged in oil palm plantations in Belitung Regency, Kepulauan Bangka
Belitung Province. The company has a strong commitment to sustainable oil palm plantation management. To minimize the negative
impact of the company's operational activities on the High Carbon Stock (HCS) area in the area, an inventory of HCS forests is needed.
This study aims to identify the High Carbon Stock (HCS) area in the smallholder area of PT. FLD, Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung
Islands Province. Based on the results of the HCS forest inventory, it was found that in the diameter class >50 cm were not found;
while in the diameter class of 30-49.9 cm, 2 trees/ha were found including in Scrub (S) as much as 1 tree/ha and Plantation-Agriculture
(AGRI) as much as 1 tree/ha. The distribution of trees in the diameter classes of 15-29.9 cm and 5-14.9 cm was found in each land
cover class. The highest carbon stock estimate was in the smallholder area of PT. FLD was found in the Plantation-Agriculture (AGRI)
land cover class of 24,262.44 tC; while the lowest was in the Open Land (LT) land cover class of 1,454.91 tC. The estimated area for
vegetation stratification shows that the potential SKT class in the PT. FLD partnership area was not found, while the non-SKT class
in the area was 1,361.07 ha. | id |
