Rekrekan (Presbytis fredericae Sodi, 1930) is endemic primates in Central Java and
National Park Gunung Merbabu is one of rekrekan habitat. Based on the IUCN Redlist, rekrekan is
one of animal who has endangered status. The observations was conducted in February in order to
determine the population and the dispersal rekrekan in Merbabu National Park. We use line
transect and consentration count metodh with parameters such as the number of individual,
activity, times, location found and type of vegetation. Based on the observations, observers found
6 individuals rekrekan, it consist of 1 adult male, 2 adult females, 2 infant and 1 juvenile. Rekrekan
did their activity in kemlandingan gunung trees (Albizia montana) at Resort Semuncar.
