| dc.description.abstract | Yellow mosaic disease was reported for the first time in Indonesia in 2008. Its infection caused huge significant yield loss. Mungbean yellow mosaic India virus (MYMIV), member of genus Begomovirus was identified as main causal agent. Accurate detection is important as part of disease management strategy. The aim of this study was to construct specific primer pairs for quick and robust detection test. Two sets of specific primer pairs, MYF/MYR and MY1/MY2 were designed in this study to amplify part of Rep – part of CP and part of coat protein only, respectively. In silico and in vitro test showed that these two specific primer pairs specifically amplified MYMIV. | id |
