Ehrlichiosis is an important infectious disease in dogs caused by gramnegative intracellular bacteria of the genus Ehrlichia. If not treated immediately can cause immunosuppressive, septicemia, and leads to death. This case study was carried out in order to to study the hematological profile and pathomorphological findings in naturally occurring ehrlichiosis in dogs. A few days after taking the blood, the dogs were dead and the cadaver bring to Pathology Division, Clinic, Reproduction, and Pathology Department, IPB University. Complete blood count (CBC) and blood chemistry test of two dogs collected, wihch was previously confirmed to be positively infected Ehrlichia sp. using 4DX snap-IDEXX® test. Interpretation of hematological profile is associated with signalement, anamneses, clinical symptoms, and gross pathological findings. Result of the study indicated that both dogs have haematological and blood chemistry disorders include anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, lymphopenia, hyperglobulinemia, hypoalbuminemia and azotemia. Hematological and blood chemistry disorders in both dog accompanied by neutropenia, an increase in the enzyme Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), and hyperbilirubinemia, eosinopenia and hyperproteinemia. Grossly, the dogs had severe hemorrhages in various organs, icterus, double apex heart, left ventricle hypertrophy, a chicken fat clot in the left ventricle, cardiomyopathy, lung congestion and bronchitis, ulcerative stomatitis, ulcerative gastritis, mucopurulent enteritis, icteric and congested liver, splenitis, and chronic interstitial nephritis. Histopathologically, there was bronchiolitis mucopurulent with neutrophils infiltrated and bacterial colonies in the lung, and interstitial nephritis with glomerulopathy. Cardiomyopathy leads to heart failure which eventually resulted in general congestions. The poor description of hematological and blood chemistry due to organ damage was confirmed by histophatological findings which state that both dogs had kidney disorders. The cause of death in these cases is considered due to sepsis, multiple organ failures particularly heart, hemorrhagic shock, and kidney failure.id
