Hypercholesterolemia increases xanthonine oxidoreductase (XO) which produces free radicals that trigger inflammation, increase leukocyte, atherosclerosis, aging, ischemia, hemolysis, stroke and death. This study aimed to analyze the effect of H. nobilispolysaccharide as an antihypercholesterolemic on the leukocyte profile of hypercholesterolemic rats. This study used randomized design experiment with for treatments and three repetition. 12 male rats of the Sprague Dawley strain into four groups: the (hypercholesterolemic) K+ group (standart diet plus 1% cholesterol); the PCh group who were fed standard diet+ 1% cholesterol + H. nobilis polysaccharide at a dose of 400 mg/kg BW for 28 days simultaneously; the Ch group which was fed with 1% cholesterol for 28 days and then continued with standard feed and the ChP group which was fed 1% cholesterol for 28 days then continued with H. nobilis polysaccharide 400 mg/kg BW until the 56th day. White Blood Cell and differentiation leukocyte were analyzed at the end of treatment. The result showed that supplementation H. nobilis polysaccharide, significantly decrease leucocyte but did not affect the differentiation of leucocyte.id
