Analisis ketahanan dan aplikasinya untuk pemodelan interval kelahiran anak pertama
Abstract
First birth interval is one of an example of survival data. The characteristic of survival data is the presence of survival time that cannot be observed completely (censored), so a correct method to analysis these kind of data is needed. There are two kinds of survival analysis, namely nonparametric and parametric analysis. The aims of this thesis are to determine best analytical method for first birth interval data and to identify dominant factors influencing first birth interval. The sample to be analyzed is the demographical data of West Java and Yogyakarta province, according to Indonesian Demography and Health Survey (IDHS) 2002. The result of thesis shows that the most appropriate method is Cox’s proportional hazard. The Cox’s proportional hazard method shows that the dominant factors affected are residence, education, and age of marriage.
