      Abstract
      Broiler is one of important commodity in livestock sector which is highly needed in Indonesia. Broilers growth rapidly and harvested in young age at 28-35 days (short rearing periode). One of the key success factors of broiler production is the provision of comfortable housing environment. The relatively new technology available for good broiler production is a broiler closed house that provides more controlled and comfortable environment boiler production. However, adequate information and knowledge about a broiler closed house is not widely available for public, especially broiler farmers. The aim of this research is to build a web-based expert system for the selection of various constructions of broiler closed house systems. The developed prototype was built using PHP programming language and MySQL database management system. The selection of broiler construction can be accessed and viewed interactively to finally produce printable 2-D and 3-D objects of broiler closed house. The test results by using three different web browsers (Internet Explorer v11.0, v43.0 Google Chrome, and Opera v30.0) showed that the expert system can be accessed correctly and properly for all browsers. The speed web browser for accessing web expert system is influenced by the speed of internet access on a computer device that is used.
