Distribusi Ukuran Debu Jatuh Akibat Pengaruh Aktivitas Lalu Lintas.
Abstract
Vehicles are one of factors causing air pollution. The dustfalls (DF) and suspended particles (TSP) are components that should be concerned in the ambient air quality management. The purpose of the research were to measure the generation of DF and TSP due to the number of vehicles, to analyze their correlation and DF size distribution as influenced by traffic activity. This research used gravimetric method. The analysis of DF concentration was based on SNI 13-4703-1998 and TSP concentration based on SNI 19-7119.3-2005. DF concentration was measured with Dustfall Canister, TSP concentration was measured with High Volume Air Sampler (HVAS) and DF size distribution was observed with a microscope. The concentration of DF in three sampling location had range around 0.4-11.5 ton/km2.month, while the concentration of TSP was 75.9-190.6 μg /Nm3. DF and vehicles showed negative correlation in three observation locations while TSP and vehicles showed positive correlation in Dramaga and Atang Sendjaja. The results of DF size distribution in three sampling location at a distance of 10 m from the road were dominated by the size of DF more than 10 μm, whereas at distances of 15 m and 20 m from the road were dominated by the size of DF of 2.5-10 μm.
