Pengaruh Jarak dan Waktu Radiasi Sinar UV terhadap Kontaminasi Bakteri Vibrio harveyi pada Air Tambak Udang.
Abstract
Water as a medium pond environment plays an important role in the activities of farm ponds, such as shrimp farming. Bacteria free water will reduce the risk of shrimp disease. One of the most common diseases found in shrimp is Vibrio harveyi. Ultraviolet radiation technology has been proven to kill bacteria. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the distance and long irradiation. The effectiveness of UV radiation lamps are tested at a distance of 3, 5, 7, and 9 cm. The variation of time spent among others 20, 40, 60, and 80 seconds. The test results showed that the percentage of mortality effective at a distance of 3 cm and longer lamp irradiation for 80 seconds at 85%.
