Sintasan dan Pertumbuhan Larva Udang Vaname yang Diberi Probiotik Pseudoalteromonas 1UB dengan Dosis Berbeda Melalui Artemia sp.
Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Pseudoaltermonas 1UB probiotics bioencapsulated in Artemia sp. on the survival and growth of white shrimp larvae. The life stage of white shrimp larvae used in this study was mysis 1 with average body weight of 0,56±0,05 mg/larvae and reared in glass jars containing 2 L of seawaters with density 30 larvae/L. This study consisted of four treatments i.e. K (control treatment, without probiotics bioencapsulated in Artemia sp.), A (Pseudoalteromonas probiotics 1UBR 104 CFU/mL bioencapsulated in Artemia sp.), B (Pseudoalteromonas 1UBR probiotics 106 CFU/mL bioencapsulated in Artemia sp.), and C (Pseudoalteromonas probiotics 1UBR 108 CFU/mL bioencapsulated in Artemia sp.). The density of Artemia sp. at bioencapsulation was as much 100 individuals/mL at the stage of instar 1-2. The result showed that the administration of probiotic Pseudoalteromonas 1UBR of 106 CFU/mL and 108 CFU/mL increased the survival rate white shrimp larvae of 19,13% and 46,10%, respectively. The growth rate was not significant compare to that of control, i.e. 23,11±2,87% and 21,25±2,07%, respectively. The best result was found in C treatment with survival rate was 94,92% and the specific growth rate was 21,25±2,07%.
