Efektivitas Penambahan β-glukan dan Vitamin C sebagai Feed Additive terhadap Kinerja Produksi Ikan Lele Clarias sp..

Abstract

This experiment was conducted to evaluate the addition of β-glucan and vitamin C in the feed on the production of catfish Clarias sp.. Juvenile with an average weight of 0.26 ± 0.01 g stoced in the plastic lined pond with a size of 6 x 3 x 0,5 m3 a density of 15,000 juveniles per pond and reared for 20 days. This experiment consisted of 2 treatments and 2 replications. In the first treatment, fish was fed with commercial feed without of β-glucan and vitamin C, whereas in the second treatment fish was fed with commercial feed with β-glucan and vitamin C addition. Fish were fed at 06.00, 16.00, and 24.00 WIB to satiation. The results showed that the fish was fed by commercial feed with of β-glucan and vitamin C addition had better production compared with control.
