Pengaruh pengalaman berinvestasi terhadap literasi keuangan dan keputusan investasi

Abstract

Investors are people who play an active role in the capital market activities. Investors who have many investing experience indicate that the investors have the ability to take decisions in a better deal when compared to the less experienced investors. An increase in the number of Sub Account must be supported by the financial literacy levels of an investor occasionally in taking an investment decision, in order to manage their funds wisely and appropriately. The aims of this research were to analyze the financial literacy level, to analyze the investing experience influence to the investors financial literacy and to analyze the influences of investors financial literacy to investment decisions. Primary data is the dissemination of questionnaires to investors. The sample method used was purposive sampling. Data was analysed by descriptive method, validity test, reliability test and simple linear regression. Results showed most of the investors financial literacy were above average (mean). Investing experience affected significantly to investors financial literacy because the longer experience of investing, the higher the financial literacy of investors. Investors financial literacy did not affect significantly to investment decisions because if literacy has increased, then the investment decisions might not necessarily be getting high anyway.
