Analisis Risiko dan Kebijakan Sumber Pasokan Ikan Hias Clown Loach pada PT. Qian Hu Joe Aquatic Indonesia

Abstract

Clown loach is a species of fish that most preferred by customers but its availability is still limited. In order to meet the request, the company should work with various suppliers. There are two kinds of suppliers, external suppliers and internal suppliers (companies produce their own fish). The best supplier policy is set by company to maintain the flow of inputs and outputs in order to remain efficient. The aim of the study is to identify the characteristics of the Clown Loach’s supplier and analyze sources of supply that is beneficial to the company. Method of data analysis using decision diagram for two kinds of policy scenarios. Meanwhile, the calculations using Microsoft Excel. The results of supplier’s policy analysis when uncertain policy is a company gains a higher profit if relying on external suppliers as the major supplier. The cost is Rp 842.465.792 with fish mortality risk of Rp 10.273.973 and profit gains Rp 280.993.163. External suppliers ensure that they offer fish with better quality, ready to be shipped, and the company does not need to pay operational charge.
