Baby Dolphin fish is one of many aquaculture commodities with high demand in export market. However, the high demand of Baby Dolphin has not been balanced with the profit of the fish fry production. One of technologies that could be applied to increase the production efficacy is increasing osmoregulation effectivity by optimizing the salinity. The purpose of this research was to determine the optimum salinity to improve survival rate and growth of Baby Dolphin fries. The average of initial weight and length of Baby Dolphin used in this study was 0.15±0.022 g and 1.46±0.12 cm reared in glass tanks sized 49x30x32 cm filled with 30 litres of water. Completely randomized design was used in this research. The treatments consisted of 0 ppt, 3 ppt, dan 6 ppt of salinity. Rearing was performed for 21 days. Siphoning and water exchange of 75% was performed daily for rearing media. Salinity of 0 ppt showed the best results with 98.33±2.88% survival rate, 1.511±0.11 g absolute growth rate, and 7.64±0.27% daily growth rate.
