Penambahan Jenis Atraktan yang Berbeda terhadap Respons Konsumsi Pakan pada Lobster Air Tawar Cherax quadricarinatus

Abstract

Freshwater crayfish Cherax quadricarinatus of species belonging to rely on smell in finding foot and eating slowly so that the necessary existence of feed attractants in order lobster faster in finding and consuming feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the best type of attractant to increase feed intake response of freshwater crayfish. Three kind of attractants tested in this study were small shrimp flour, squid flour, and shrimp paste at rate of 2%. The study was conducted for 40 days and the lobster was given experiment feed using at satiation method, with feeding frequency 2 times a day. The average size of lobsters used in this study was 1.11±0.005grams/ lobster reared in 12 units of aquariums sized 50x 40x 30 cm3, with water depth of 15 cm. The results showed that the best of three types of attractant used in this study was small shrimp flour at rate of 2% with feed intake response as much 21.36±0.34 gram
