      Abstract
      Bogor area at this time is an area that is developing the infrastructure in all fields . However, the development is not supported by businesses dealing with environmental problems . One environmental issue is air pollution . This study aimed to determine and describe the level and pattern of distribution of pollutants NO2 in Bogor Regency and surrounding areas using remote sensing data from the AURA satellite ( OMI ) and Giovanni software . The study was conducted using 5 years of data ( 2006-2010 ) found that the highest levels of NO2 in the atmosphere Bogor Regency occurred in July 2008 at 10 × molec/cm2 1015 , while the lowest occurred in January 2006 amounted to 2 × 1015molec/cm2 . Based on data on average rainfall of 7 stations spread in Bogor Regency , made seasonal averages into four , namely the rainy season in DJF (December -January- February) ; MAM transitional season ( March-April May) ; drought JJA (June- July-August ) , and SON transitional season (September- October-November ) . NO2 distribution pattern in DJF and MAM generates a total value of column NO2 low value compared to the month JJA and SON which shows the value of the total NO2column tends to be high
       
      Kota dan Kabupaten Bogor saat ini merupakan daerah yang sedang melakukan pengembangan infrastruktur pada segala bidang. Namun pengembangan tersebut tidak didukung dengan usaha penanganan masalah lingkungan. Salah satu masalah lingkungan adalah polusi udara. Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tingkat serta pola distribusi polutan NO2 di Kabupaten Bogor dan sekitarnya menggunakan data hasil remote sensingsatelit AURA (OMI) dansoftwareGiovanni. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan data 5 tahun (2006–2010) didapatkan bahwa tingkat kandungan NO2 tertinggi di atmosfer Kabupaten Bogor terjadi pada bulan Juli 2008 sebesar 10 × 1015 molec/cm2, sedangkan terendah terjadi pada bulan Januari 2006 sebesar2 × 1015molec/cm2. Berdasarkan data curah hujan rata-rata dari 7 stasiun yang tersebar di Kabupaten Bogor, dibuat rata-rata musiman menjadi empat, yaitu musim hujan pada DJF (Desember–Januari–Februari); musim peralihan MAM (Maret–April–Mei); musin kemarau JJA (Juni–Juli–Agustus); dan musim peralihan SON (September–Oktober–November). Pola sebaran NO2 pada bulan DJF dan MAM menghasilkan nilai total kolom NO2yang bernilai rendah dibandingkan dengan bulan JJA dan SON yang menunjukkan nilai total kolom NO2 yang cenderung tinggi.
