Rancang Bangun Sistem Hidrolik pada Mekanisme Bongkar Muatan Transporter Trek Kayu
Abstract
In previous research (Rudiansyah 2012), designed Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) transporter that using wooden track to reduce the load on the ground with low bearing capacity of soil condition or land that has a steep slope. Unloading mechanism in previous research use sliding mechanism. In sliding mechanism, bucket is pushed in order to reach the tipping point so it can be raised by an operator who is next to the bucket. In this research, FFB dumping mechanism designed using hydraulic power. The addition of the hydraulic components are expected to reduce the workload of the operator and able to improve the transport capacity of the transporter. Hydrolic design is performed by CAD software. The result of the design are actuator cylinder having a diameter of piston is 32 mm and piston rod diameter is 20 mm, length of stroke is 205 mm with total overall length is 594 mm. Hydraulic gear pumps with 11 cc capacity used to support the performance of the system. The functional part that support the main functions are frame, tub, stand pumps, direction control valves and flow reducing valve, and hydraulic tank. Performance test results showed that the recommended load is 340 kg. The time it takes actuator to lift the tub (extrusion) when empty is 1.41 seconds, but while there is a load in the tub it takes 2.35 seconds.
