Kajian Minimasi Biaya Produksi Stay Assy IAMI (Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia) Pada PT. BS Indonesia

Abstract

Agregat planning for linear programing uses fixed work forced assuming that there is no decrease or increase in the number of employees. Production rate can fluctuate due to overtime only with fluctuate. The appropiate method of demand dorecasting is the moving average method.The existing obstacles in the preparation of production optimizing system at PT. BS Indonesia among others are the total production, production rate, working hours of reguar worker and overtime. These parameters give a big influence on reaching the company is goal which is minimizing cost. Based on the comparison of the production planning method, production planning is 15% of the predicted demand and the researching result of the linear production programing plan which resulting a far more lower Stay Assy Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) total cost which was Rp. 2.121.109.794 and Rp. 2.129.106.192, if it was compared to the production plan that the company working based on 15% data from the past demand that was as bis as Rp. 2.134.246.008.
