Jenis dan Kualitas Nutrisi Pakan di Peternakan Rakyat KUNAK Cibungbulang Bogor sebagai Dasar Penyusunan Formulasi Ransum

Abstract

The research was aimed to identify type of feed that used by farmers in Cibungbulang Bogor and find out nutritional content as basis for formulation of feed rations. This study uses descriptive analysis to describe type and quality of feed used and T-test were used to compare quality of forage and agricultural waste in dry season and the rainy season. Type of forage used in KUNAK among others field grass, grass taiwan, king grass, hawaii grass, rice straw, corn husk, and cabbage waste. Concentrates used are tofu, tempe waste, rice bran, and concentrates. Formulation results based on the average performance of lactating cows using available feed, consisted of Taiwan grass 48%, and concentrates A from Bogor 18%, field grass 10%, rice bran 10% and 14% tempe waste. Formula contained 16.5% CP, 21.5 CF%, 70.6% TDN, 0.45% Ca and 0.28% P.
