Evaluasi Fermentasi Hijauan Komplit Berbasis Indigofera zollingeriana dan Sorghum bicolor dengan Perbedaan Proporsi Torbangun (Coleus amboinicus lour) secara In Vitro

Abstract

This research was aimed to evaluate the fermentation of formulation Indigofera zollingeriana and Sorghum bicolor at different proportion of Torbangun leaves (Coleus amboinicus lour) as in vitro study. Experimental design of this research was randomized block design with three levels and three replicates. The first treatment (P0) contained complete feed with Indigofera zollingeriana and Sorghum bicolor ration 40:60, the second and third treatment were complete feed (P0) plus 2.5% (P1) and 5% (P2) of Torbangun leaves supplementation. Parameters measured of this research were total gas and methane by using gas test methode, DMD and OMD by using Tilley and Terry digestable methode, amonia by microdifution conway, and VFA by steam destilation methode. The result showed that supplementation did not affect (P>0.05) to all the parameters in this study. It was concluded that Torbangun leaves supplementation up to 5% have same pattern fermentation activity in the rumen as in vitro.
