Analisis Pengaruh Kompetensi Sumber Daya Manusia Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan (Studi kasus PT Mitra Excellent Indonesia)
Abstract
PT. Mitra Excellent Indonesia is one of the companies engaged in heavy equipment maintenance services. Heavy equipment maintenance services business has been progressing quite well, but the needs of human resources shortage and competency maintenance services of heavy equipment to face difficulties in obtaining suitable labor resulting in complaints from customers due to delays in the implementation of the customer's operations due to equipment maintenance heavy equipment is less optimal than PT. Mitra Excellent Indonesia. The study has two main objectives that include the following: (1) Identifying HR competency needed in PT. Mitra Excellent Indonesia, Jakarta and South Kalimantan. (2) to analyze the effect of HR competency performance to employment in PT. Mitra Excellent Indonesia, Jakarta and South Kalimantan. The study was conducted at PT. Mitra Excellent Indonesia Graha Mas Pemuda Blok AD 16 Jl. Pemuda Kav.1 Pulogadung, East Jakarta. Data collection was conducted from July to August 2012. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from interviews and questionnaires distribution. Secondary data were obtained from the literature and the internet. This research analysis tool using linear regression. Identification of human resource competency needed in PT. Mitra Excellent Indonesia is the action orientation, communication, creativity/innovation, critical judgment, customer orientation, interpersonal skill, leadership, teamwork and technical skill/functional. Overall, respondents' perceptions of competence has a frequency value of 73.7%, while the respondent's perception of performance has a frequency value of 73.8%. Overall, the effect of variable competency of HR performance to employment is 62.3%. While the competency of the nine variables that significantly affect the performance of the employees there are only three variables, the variable creativity/innovation, leadership variables and technical skill/functional variables. While the other six variables are action orientation variables, communication variables, critical judgment variables, customer orientation variables, interpersonal skill variables and teamwork variables not significantly influence performance employment. Managerial implications that can be done is to conduct a variety of training for employees in each work unit such as active learning, conduct training need analysis, advanced leader training, basic mechanic systems, engine systems and maintenance, trouble shooting machine, and training overhoul.
