The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal nutritional behaviour with famili’s nutrient adequacy in slums at South Jakarta. The samples in this study were family and mother as the unit of analysis. The research was conducted by interviewing the unit of analysis. Mothers in this study has good knowledge and attitudes of nutrition, but their practises of nutrition was moderate. Over all, energy adequacy of family was still deficit, but protein adequacy was enough. Adequacy of vitamin A, vitamin B, and phospor were adequate, but calcium, iron, and vitamin C were deficit. Stepwise regression results indicate that maternal nutrition knowledge, attitude, and practice does not affect the nutritional adequacy of family who lived in slum at South Jakarta.
