Penggunaan Hormon Oksitosin dan Ovaprim dengan Nisbah Kombinasi yang Berbeda pada Induksi Ovulasi Ikan Synodontis Synodontis eupterus

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the success of ovulation and induce spawning synodontis using the combination of oxytocin and ovaprim hormones at different ratio. The fish were induced with the combination of oxytocin and ovaprim hormones at ratio of either 0%:100%, 25%:75%, 50%:50%, 75%:25%, and 100%:0%, respectively. Fish induced with combination of 75% oxytocin and 25% ovaprim had the best result indicated with the average ovulation time was 19,83 hours and most efficient cost Rp. 634.
