Catfish is a freshwater fish that has a high economic value. Larval production of catfish constantly improved through artificial spawning by injecting hormones. The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness and efficiency used of a combination oxytocin hormone and ovaprim on spawning female catfish with a mixture of different doses. The research consist of 5 treatments and 3 replications using complete random design. Treatment consist of P0 (ovaprim 100%), P1 (oxytocin 25% and ovaprim 75%), P2 (oxytocin 50% and ovaprim 50%), P3 (oxytocin 75% and ovaprim 25%) and P4 (oxytocin 100%). The best result showed that P3 or treatment dose of 75% oxytocin hormone and 25% ovaprim injection was the most efficient with an average ovulation time 9 hours 38 minutes and inducing cost Rp. 1 525,00,-.
