Physical characteristics of ration are important aspects in feed mill industry, because they are related to handling efficiency, processing and storage. Torbangun plant in Indonesia has not used for animal feed. The process of drying and processing plants as feed ingredients affect the moisture content. This study aims to determine the physical properties of plant leaves torbangun and the influence on physical pellet quality in particular due to different moisture content of materials (12%, 13.5%, 15%) prior to pelleting process. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 4 replications. The experimental data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), the different among treatments were further tested using Duncan Test. The parameters observed were pellet durability index, spesific gravity, bulk density, compacted bulk density, angle of respone and moisture content of pellet. Different moisture content of torbangun level significantly affect (P <0.05) the bulk density, compact bulk density, angel of heap, and pellet durability index, however do not significantly (P> 0.05) affect the specific gravity.
