Analisis Pengendalian Mutu Produk Personal Care Serambi Botani Bermutu Tinggi di PT Adev Natural Indonesia, Bogor

Abstract

Quality is a duty and a responsibility because it will affect the consumer’s personal safety, community’s safety and security in protecting producer’s market. The objective of this study is to review the quality control (QC) in the production process of Serambi’s Botani high quality personal care product in PT Adev Natural Indonesia, to analyze the factors that affected the quality of the product, and to analyze the QC in the product of that company which is being controlled or uncontrolled. The method that used in this study is cause and effect diagram and Pareto diagram, by interviewing the supervisor of operation production. Sample that used in this study is simple random sampling. The result of cause and effect diagram and Pareto diagram, soap product that produced by PT Adev Natural Indonesia still has a less good quality. For example, the cause of the quality of transparent soap is human factor cutting the soap; olive soap product is human factor measuring the thickness of the soap; rice soap product is environment factor storage; turmeric soap product is method factor soap transportation; propolis soap product is method factor heating.
