Pengaruh Pemupukan dan Pemberian Urin Sapi Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Tingkat ProduktivitasMedicago sativa L

Abstract

Medicago sativa L (Alfalfa) is one of kind legume comes from Iran (Cheeke 2005). This research was conducted to measureeffect of fertilized with manure and urin of cattleforgrowth and production of alfalfa with same value of nitrogen where was tried in Ciwidey, Bandung. This research used Randomized Complete Design (RCD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment were P1 (NPK (control) 15 g m-2), P2 (manure of chicken 0.33 kgm-2), P3 (manure of cattle 1 kgm-2), P4 (manure of chicken 0.17 kgm-2+ urine 0.3 litersm-2), and P5 ( manure of cattle 0.5 kgm-2+ urine 0.3 litersm-2). The observation was the response of plant which include presentage of seed, plant height, total leaf, as feed and dry matter of leaf and stem, crude protein and crude fiber. The result showed that the treatment of iso nitrogen which fertilized with manure and urin of cattle is not significant togrowth and productivity of alfalfa. Another result of this reaserch is the treatment P4 (manure of chicken 0.17 kgm-2+ urine 0.3 litersm-2) can subtitution NPK and showed the better growth, productivity and crude protein of alfalfa than NPK treatment.
