Substitusi Jagung dengan Dedak Gandum Kasar dan Tepung Daun Mengkudu pada Ransum Puyuh (Coturnix-coturnix japonica) terhadap Hematologi
Abstract
Wheat bran is one of byproduct from grain milling process. Wheat bran can be used to reduce the utilization of corn, but lack of beta-carotene content. Suplementation of Morinda citrifolia leaves meal can replace the lack of betacarotene. The experimental design in this research was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The control ration without wheat bran and Morinda citrifolia leaves meal (R0), R1 (substitution the corn with 5% wheat bran and 6% Morinda citrifolia leaves meal), R2 (substitution the corn with 10% wheat bran and 6% Morinda citrifolia leaves meal) and R3 (substitution the corn with 15% wheat bran and 6% Morinda citrifolia leaves meal). It was concluded that substitution of 15% wheat bran and 6% Morinda citrifolia leaves meal resulted normal blood hematology profile but could increase significantly to the feed intake, protein intake and Fe intake
