Aktivitas Inhibitor Siklooksigenase 2 Secara In Vitro dan Kandungan Flavonoid Enam Aksesi Kunyit Hasil Budidaya

Abstract

Curcuma domesticais kind of medicinal plant which has inhibitory activity of cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2). Its has many promising line, there are Nagrak, Wonogiri, Ciemas, BPTO, Turina 1 and Turina 2. Secondary metabolic wich has potency as antiinflamantory is flavonoid. The aim of the present study was to examined the best activity from Six Curcuma domestica promising line cultivated in Nagrak Regency as In vitro inhibitory COX- 2 and that flavonoid content. This research included extraction used etanol 70% as solvent, in vitro COX-2 inhibition sceering assay, determinated of flavonoid content used colorimetric methode, and determined the coleration of both statistically. C. domestica promising line Nagrak has highest inhibitory activity and flavonoid content were 55.84% and 2.252 mg/g QE. Analysis used SPSS PASW Statistic 18.0 programme showed that flavonoid compound was not significant with inhibitory activity COX 2.
