Analisis Sistem Distribusi Air Bersih di Perumahan Taman Yasmin Sektor Enam, Bogor, Jawa Barat

Abstract

Water distribution system is used to distribute water throughout the service area. The objectives of this research was to analyze water distribution system at Taman Yasmin Residence sector six. The analysis was held based on questioner and Epanet 2.0. The result showed that the water quality fulfilled Permenkes No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010. Based on interview about 40 respondents said that water physical quality was suitable. At inlet water discharge was 7,05 l/s so it fulfilled the total of water needs (2,67 l/s). But costumers said that water discharge is smaller in the morning and in the afternoon. The average pressure was 1,9 bar and the inlet pressure was 3,56 bar. So it was suitable with PDAM regulation about maximum pressure on main pipe and secondary pipe (2-4 bar). Based on simulations using Epanet 2.0 there were 4 nodes that had pressure more than 2 bar 3 at tertiary pipe. So it was necessary to install PRV to reduce the pressure on those nodes because the maximum pressure on tertiary pipe was 2 bar. Based on the result of the research it can be concluded that the water distribution system at Taman Yasmin Residance sector six was good and PDAM Tirta Pakuan was expected to increased the discharge in the morning and in the afternoon.
