Analisis Kenyamanan Thermal Ruang Kelas B1 FEM IPB Menggunakan Teknik Simulasi Berdasarkan Computational Fluid Dynamics
Abstract
Classrooms contstruction have to consider about thermal comfort, so that learning activities can be done effectively. The thermal comfort can be achieved by saving our nature with minimizing energy consumption and environment damage. This research is analyze thermal comfort of B1 Classroom FEM IPB which now used an outdoor concrete roof. The research objective is to determine the climate of B1 classroom using simulation technique. The simulation is done to determine and compare the dynamics of airflow pattern, temperature, and humudity of concrete and plant yard. The simulation was conducted based on Computational Fluid Dynamics method. The result shows that plants yard is can decrease temperature and increase the comfortable in B1 classroom than existing condition. The compare of thermal comfort condition in existing, concrete and plant outdoor yard are 28.5oC, 28.3oC, dan 26oC. The airflow rate in B1 classroom with plants yard is 0.237 m3/min/person and it reach a suitable condition based on SNI 03-6572-2001.
