      Abstract
The objective of this experiment was to evaluate storage wafer on physical characteristic and added water to increase acceptability of thin-tailed sheep. The experimental design used in this research was Completely Randomized Design for testing physical characteristic with 3 treatments and 3 replications with R1: 0 week storage, R2: 3 weeks of storage, R3: 6 weeks of storage and Block Randomized Design to test acceptability with 4 treatments and 3 replications with body weight as a block with P1: offering wafer without the addition of water, P2: offering wafer with the addition of water 25% of the feed given, P3: offering wafer with the addition of water 50% of the feed given, P4: offering wafer with the addition of water 75% of the feed given. The results of this research showed that the storage time significantly different (P<0.05) on moisture, water activity, water absorption. Insect attack can be increase with storage during six weeks. The Addition of water on wafer significantly different (P<0.05) on acceptability of sheep at length storage on 3 and 6 weeks. Based on the results length storage on 6 weeks increase on moisture, decrease on water absorption and increase on acceptability of sheep with the addition of water 75%.
