The research about people’s perception was conducted in order to identify the existence of outdoor media in Margonda Raya Street, Depok City, West Java. Quantitative method was used as the primary method in this research. This research was conducted using survey research design with descriptive-correlational approach. Descriptive in this research means describing respondent characteristics, people’s perception toward visual communication aspects, typology characteristics, and outdoor media aesthetics. Moreover, Correlational in this research means trying to explore factors that related to people’s perception and try to examine correlation between variables. By identifying people’s perception, it will enable us to describe people’s response toward outdoor media. As many as 94 respondents from Margonda Raya Street, Depok City was selected as sample in this research. The research results showed that the public perception of visual communication aspects on outdoor media is good, while the public perception of the outdoor media typology and aesthetic outdoor media is good enough. Further study related to outdoor media is expected to learn about outdoor media in Depok City based on City Planning (RTRK).
