Perencanaan Sistem Penyaluran Air Limbah Laboratorium di Kampus IPB Dramaga, Bogor

Abstract

Waste are emissions that resulted from an industrial production processes or domestic, that not environmentaly wanted and does not have economic value. This study aimed to determine the laboratory wastewater discharge and the effective laboratory wastewater distribution system on Bogor Institute of Agriculture, Campus Dramaga, Bogor. The planning of plumbing system refer to SNI 03- 6481-2000 also infrastructure technical criteria and wastewater management tool by minister of public work. The research which shows the centralized laboratory wastewater distribution system to wastewater treatment plant located in front of Faculty of Veterinary are not effective because laboratory discharge that exist are too small about 400 litre per month and drainage distance that too far about 1 km with 5.8 m head difference also major headloss on pipelines about 125.15 m and 479.66 m for minor headloss
