Analisis Hubungan Konsumsi Buah dan Sayur dengan Ukuran Lingkar Pinggang Perempuan Usia Dewasa Muda

Abstract

One of the diet could help reducting body weight is high fiber diet, with fruit and vegetable as the main sources. The objective of this research was to study the correlation of fruit and vegetable consumption with waist circumference in young adult woman. The design of this study was cross sectional. The subject of this study involved 75 people aged 18-22 years, which are the student of Community Nutrition Department, IPB. Using Pearson correlations, the result showed that there was a significant correlation between fruit consumption and waist circumference (p<0,05). However, there was no significant correlation between vegetable consumption and waist circumference (p>0,05). In addition, the result of multiplicative regression test showed that phisycal activity has inverse significant effect to waist circumference
