Analisis Korelasi antara Bangkitan Debu Jatuh, Kecepatan Angin, dan Kadar Air Tanah
Abstract
Naturally dustfall can be generated from dry soil that carried away by the wind. The aim of the research is to analyze the correlations between dustfall, wind speed, and soil moisture content on three main types of soil found in Java Island according to Standard Rev. SNI 13-4703-1998. The results of analysis showed that the generation of dustfall correlated positively with wind speed and correlated negatively with soil moisture content. Effect of wind speed on the generation of dustfall on Inceptisol soil is 19.6%, Ultisol is 36.6%, and Andisol is 22.5%. Effect of soil moisture content on the generation of dustfall on Inceptisol soil is 27.4% on the measurements in the field and 72.6% on the measurements in the laboratory, Ultisol soil is 37.5% on the measurements in the field and 79.5% on the measurements in the laboratory, Andisol soil is 29.3% on the measurements in the field and 78.7% on the measurements in the laboratory. Many outside factors influence on the measurements in the field resulted in the resulting correlation lower than measurements in the laboratory
