      Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze effect of multivitamin mineral (MVM) supplementation to malondyaldehide plasma of female adolescent. Design of this study was the quasi experimental with control, double blind. Samples were First Common Year female students of Bogor Agricultural University (TPB-IPB). The 28 samples consisted of 11 anemia and 17 non-anemia were divided into control and intervention group. There were control anemia group (6 samples), intervention anemia group (5 sampels), control non-anemia group (7 samples) and intervention non anemia group (10 samples). Intervention group received MVM supplement 15 ml/day that contained vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C, ferro gluconate, calcium gluconate, mangan sulfate, and zinc sulfate, whereas control group received placebo syrup. The malondialdehyde plasma was analyzed by TBARS method. The statistical test (Anova) showed that malondialdehyde were relatively homogenous in baseline and also endline (p>0,05). The results of paired sample t-test showed that there were no significant changing in plasma malondyaldehide concentration in all groups (p>0.05) respectively. Based on this result, we concluded that there was no influence of multivitamin mineral suplementation to plasma malondialdehyde on female adolescent.
