      Performa Benih Ikan Nila yang Diberi Hormon Pertumbuhan Rekombinan Ikan Nila dan Ikan Kerapu Tikus Melalui Pakan

      Abstract
      This research was aimed to evaluate the performance of Nile tilapia juvenile give feed with recombinant Nile tilapia growth hormone (rOnGH) and humpback grouper (rCaGH). The dose of both freeze dried rOnGH and rCaGH is 1.5 mg/100 g commercial feed, a non rGH use as a control. Nile tilapia juveniles in size of 3.25±0.44 cm body length and 0.45±0.002 g body weight reared at density of 40 fish in an 80-L glass aquaria. Each treatment of this research was duplicate. At the first 2 week of rearing, fish were fed on diet containing rGH 10% biomass on three times daily. Then, fish were maintained for 6 weeks and fed on commercial diet without rGH supplementation, 3 times daily at satiation. The result showed that total body length (cm) of juvenile fed on rOnGH-enriched diet (6.80±1.03) was relatively higher than that of rCaGH (6.50±1.94) and control (6.24±1.31). The biomass (g) of fish treated by rOnGH (223.13±3.08) was also relatively higher than that of rCaGH (193.03±7.86) and control (160.62±3.71). Growth rate of fish treated by rOnGH was relatively higher than by rCaGH and control. Survival of juvenile treated by rOnGH (96.25±1.77%) was relatively higher than rCaGH (93.75±1.77%) and control (83.75±8.84%). Feed convertion ratio (FCR) of rOnGH-treated fish (0.95±0.08) was relatively lower than that of rCaGH (1.1±0.08) and control (1.3±0.01). Thus, the growth performance, survival and feed convertion of Nile tilapia juvenile fed on the rOnGH has a higher effect than rCaGH.
       
      Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji performa benih ikan nila yang diberi hormon pertumbuhan rekombinan (rGH) dari ikan nila (rOnGH) dan ikan kerapu tikus (rCaGH) melalui pakan. Dosis rOnGH dan rCaGH yang diberikan adalah 1,5 mg/100 g pakan komersial, serta tanpa pemberian rOnGH dan rCaGH sebagai kontrol. Benih ikan yang digunakan berukuran 3,25±0,44 cm dan bobot tubuh 0,45±0,002 g dipelihara di dalam akuarium dengan padat tebar 40 ekor per 80 L. Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari dua ulangan. Perlakuan pakan mengandung rGH diberikan sebanyak 10% biomassa selama 2 minggu di awal pemeliharaan. Selanjutnya ikan dipelihara selama 6 minggu dan diberi pakan komersial dengan frekuensi pemberian 3 kali sehari hingga ikan kenyang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa panjang total rerata (cm) ikan nila yang diberi perlakuan rOnGH (6,80±1,03) relatif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan rCaGH (6,50±1,94) dan kontrol(6,24±1,31). Biomassa ikan (g) yang diberi perlakuan rOnGH dengan dosis 1,5 mg/100 g pakan (223,13±3,08) juga relatif lebih tinggi daripada perlakuan rCaGH (193,03±7,86) dan kontrol (160,62±3,71). Laju pertumbuhan ikan perlakuan rOnGH relatif lebih tinggi dari perlakuan rCaGH dan kontrol. Kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila perlakuan rOnGH (96,25±1,77%) juga relatif lebih tinggi dari perlakuan rCaGH (93,75±1,77%) dan kontrol (83,75±8,84%). Nilai konversi pemberian pakan pada perlakuan rOnGH (0,95±0,08) relatif lebih rendah dari perlakuan rCaGH (1,1±0,08) dan kontrol (1,3±0,01). Dengan demikian performa pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup dan konversi pakan benih ikan nila yang diberi pakan mengandung rOnGH lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rCaGH.
