Sistem deteksi dini dan pencegahan penyakit pada ternak unggas secara online

Abstract

Disease control on poultry farming can be one determining factor to get the economy success. A sick poultry will make the weight gain decreased, and result in economic losses. Poultry disease can be detected faster by the symptom shown by poultry itself. This Online Poultry Early Detection and Illness Prevention Information System (OPEDIPIS) could help farmer to detect the illness before its outbreak. This system diagnoses the desease by enter the symptome of the desease to computer system, and then the system compute the possible illness of the poultry based on the symptom that had been input to the system data base. The OPEDIPIS was developed using System Development Life Cycle Method (SDLC). SDLC consisted of 5 systems, they were investigation, analyze, design, implementation, and maintaining systems. The system is good for some disease that have symptoms in the vital body but it cant be used to cure the illness, this system can only recommend some prevention method to help stop spreading the disease.
