      Abstract
Cage has a very important role in accommodating all livestock activities .1\Ifh as providing comfort and protection from environmental 'hi1-l.uences. Livestock will be able to develop and grow normally in good cage environment condition. Livestock development is influenced by the climate of the ~ge microenvironment such as air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and light j tensity. ~ This research aimed to analyze the distribution of temperature, humidity, "S!ind speed and air flow patterns inside the cage with the fan turning on and off ~ith a technique of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The parameteres ~hich were observed included temperature, relative humadity (RH), air flow and iradiation with the uniform environmental conditions from 07.00 a.m. until 15:00 l-m. Then, the data obtained were analyzed and compared with simulation results esing SolidWork 2009. "tI The highest temperature inside the cage based on measurement was 33.33 ~ at 12.00 p.m., with the simulation results using SolidWork 2009 up to 34.45 t . Error of temperature based on measurement results with simulation results at gg .OO, 12.00 and 15.00 were 5.24%, 2.83%, and 2.01%. pThe highest relative itmidity based on measurements was 89.67% in the morning and evening, during &., e simulation up to 85.17% at 08.00 p.m. RH errors from the measurement results with simulations were 2.97%, 5.07%, and 3.93%. The highest wind speed from CFD simulation results was 1.90 m/sec at 15.00 p.m. The simulation results showed that the temperature level and RH when the fan was on and off were almost the same, with the difference about ± 0.01 DC, and the air movement had a difference of about 0.02-0.11 m/sec.
