      Abstract
      PT Alam Indah Bunga Nusantara is a crysant cut flower company that have adequately big capacity production. In order to reach production target, PT ABN has sufficient infrastructure and production technology, i.e. green house with 6.03 ha of total productive area. The Operational production activity of crysant cut flower involves divisions of production system. That division are Mother Stock and Nursery (MSN), Production, Plant Disease (HPT), Technic, Store House, and Harvesting and Post Harvesting. All of these divisions interact each another for supporting production target. Thus, continuity and properness of data and information from all divisions have to be well proven. The problems appeared at the moment are semi manual and decentralized administration system of data and information. As a consequence, it is verily possible happened rate humans erros that cause inadequate operation control process. This decentralization of data make certain data and information only available on the certain division. Redudancy and inconsistency of data and information might occur on this condition. It might also cause divisions of production system no longer synergist. In oder to solve the problem, it was required to build database system of crysant cut flowers production (Simbapro Krisan Potong PT ABN). This system was built for modifying the manual and decentralized system become centralized and integrated system, then it will be able support the administration system of data and information of crysan cut flower production effective and efficient. The building method of this system was refered to SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) that consisted of five steps: investigation, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance. The database system that had been built was desktop application and properly work on Ms Windows platform. It used Ms Acces 2007 and Visual Basic vii 6.0 (VB). Microssoft Acces 2007 (RDBMS) was used on building relational database and vb was used on building application interface. The former prototype of Simbapro Krisan Potong PT ABN had been built base on advisement of functional requirement that covered input master data form, operational data form, information form, and reports. Simbapro Krisan Potong PT ABN serves information inter divisions and centrally provided, thus expectedly able to integrate data and information of crysant cut flower production that suitable with each divisions need. This system only covered several functional aspect, i.e.: documentational master and operational production data, inventory information of crysant plant (mother, seed, plant), information of the plant desease, and information of operational production. So, this system could be improved as well as. The maintenance of system, as finally step of SDLC, was executed at 11 february 2010. User that evaluate the system was Mr.Tatan Supriatna (as crysant an expert). It resulted response on operational method, suggestion on information detail, and readiness on report completeness. Based on user response on operational aspect, this system was user friendly; on problem limitation aspect, the information service was adequately sufficient. However, this system still need to be improved during implementation. Meanwhile, on report aspect, the system was necessary to be completed.
