      Abstract
Pellet was formed by mixtures, compacting and forcing through die openings by any mechanical process. This research was to strudy the effect of using Indigofera zollingeriana and Leucaena leucocephala on pellets related the quality of the physical properties and long storage. The experiment model was a Randomized Completely Design with factorial pattern (4x4) with two factors and three replications. Factor 1 was a combination level i.e. R1 = 30% Leucaena leucocephala + 0% Indigofera zollingeriana; R2 = 20% Leucaena leucocephala + 10% Indigofera zollingeriana; R3 = 10% Leucaena leucocephala + 20% Indigofera zollingeriana; R4 = 0% Leucaena leucocephala + 30% Indigofera zollingeriana, and factor 2 was storage periods i.e. M0 = 0 week, M2 = 2 weeks, M4 = 4 weeks, M6 = 6 weeks. The parameter observerd were: moisture content, water activity, specific gravity, particle size, angle of response, compacted density and pellet durability index (PDI). The data were analyzed by analysis of variance and the significant result then examined by orthogonal contrast test. The result showed that combination Indigofera zollingeriana and Leucaena leucocephala and storage periods were significantly different (P<0.01) affect the angle of response, particle size, compacted density and pellet durability index. Pellet containing 20% and 30% Indigofera zollingeriana have the highest score of PDI and particle size, and pellet containing 10% Indigofera zollingeriana have the highest score of compacted density.
